What to expect during a session:
Each session begins when you meet/or greet the practitioner. It takes place in a quiet, serene setting where confidentiality and privacy are maintained. You remain fully clothed during the treatment and lay on a padded massage table. The sessions are not a choreographed routine and I use a light touch to sense and work with subtle energy and the cranial wave movement.
Each person experiences CST in their own way, but a blissful sense of stillness and peace during and after a session is normal.
You are supposed to be relaxing, so if you fall asleep or drift into a dreamlike state during the session it is okay. It's right for you. Try not to judge yourself or any thoughts you might have. Just "be".

Like massage, it is not recommended that you seek
treatment when you feel ill in any way.
Please wait until after your headache or migraine has subsided for treatment. Your ability to relax and have the work do what it needs to is impaired in acute pain conditions or under the influence of prescription pain killers.
If migraines and headaches are chronic, I suggest adding this therapy as an adjunct to others
as it will help to assimilate everything.

Visionary Craniosacral Therapy
Working with the Body's Inner Wisdom
This approach to Craniosacral Therapy is based in the "liquid- electric" model, of the Milne Institute, where all components of the craniosacral system move freely, yet together in a certain rhythm. Your own rhythm, different than any other living being on this planet. It introduces an analytical and intuitive understanding of craniosacral work and the craniosacral system including individual bones, muscles, membranes, cerbrospinal fluid and nerves. (spine and brain)
It is a gentle, non-invasive technique that encourages your body's natural healing mechanisms to counter the negative effects of stress (physical, emotional, spiritual) on the body, and to enhance health and well-being.
I use light touch and work with different wave patterns in the cerbrospinal fluid, similar to breathing, to assist in releasing physical restrictions felt within the system. (It does not involve movement of the muscle or manipulation of any kind. It is better classified as subtle energy.)
It works on all vibrational levels: physical, emotional, and spiritual; making it an extremely holistic approach to whatever is ailing or hindering you on your journey.
Some specifics CST can help are: tension/migraine headaches, fibromyalgia (now being classified as an overstimulation of nerve firing), chronic fatique, depression, TMJ, ADHD, anxiety, processing and emptying information which is no longer neccessary for you (such as old beliefs and energy blocks), opening up channels and creating a new sense of centeredness and awareness.
This form of bodywork is becoming an increasingly valid form of health care. There is no concrete, scientific explanation, except that it works!!! I have had clients' anxiety levels and chronic physical pain lessen as a result, deep muscular release occur (like you recieived a deep tissue massage), and even had one gentleman say that his arthritic symtoms had dissappeared after a few years of treatment! For me, I just love to give and receive this form of bodywork....
After an initial meeting, this type of work can also be done long distance and is just as beneficial as if you were actually in my treatment room! Energy has no boundaries...
On a side note: I am not a psychotherapist, nor do I claim to be. I am an Ordained Minister of the Universal Life Church and have been mentoring with a shaman and clairvoyant for the past 5 years where I have been honing my skills in emotional support and spiritual guidance.
